What to Expect

Participant Information, Expectations and Regulations

 

  • Participants are required to present themselves to the Program sober or participants will not be admitted, and fee will be forfeited. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs of any type will be permitted. Participants may be given breath and/or urine tests to check for alcohol and/or drugs. Participants are required to arrange for their own transportation to and from Impact Weekend.
  • Participants who drive and park at the site will be required to hand over their keys at time of registration.
  • Attendance at all scheduled sessions is mandatory. Participants are required to be on time for all activities.
  • If a participant is taking ANY medication – this must be reported to the staff at time of registration. Please bring all prescription medications needed for the weekend and bring in prescription bottles – bring only what is required for the weekend. Anyone found giving or taking meds from another individual will be reported to the referring court and class fees forfieted.
  • No personal televisions, radios, or /ipods//computers are allowed while participating in the program. If participants bring beepers and/or cell phones, they will be taken by the staff and kept secure during participant’s stay. Outgoing phone calls will be allowed only for emergencies. Gambling is not allowed. Guns, knives, and other weapons are not allowed.
  • Participants and their possessions (including handbags, purses, etc.) will be subject to search for liquor, drugs and/or weapons. It is strongly suggested that purses be kept at home.
  • Participants should leave all valuables and large amounts of money at home. They may bring cigarettes if they smoke – designated areas are provided for smoking.
  • Participants are not allowed to wander or visit other units or floors at Impact Weekend, or leave premises. Persons violating this policy will be discharged from the program, and fees forfeited. Participants are to attend all scheduled meals. No food is to leave the cafeteria. Breakfast is NOT served on Saturday Morning.
  • Verbal and/or physical abuse will not be tolerated.
  • Lights must be out and all quiet by 11:00 p.m. each night. Participants will finish the program at approximately 2:00 p.m. Sunday.

 

Please be advised that Impact Weekend has and will enforce a ZERO Tolerance Policy involving medical marijuana.
